How has being an ICS graduate from Duke helped shape you personally and/or professionally?

"ICS is a multi-disciplinary major that draws on incredibly diverse courses and has taught me to be flexible, creative, and open-minded when approaching issues. The skills that I acquired through my ICS major were highly transferable to my career and have enabled me to think critically and to develop strong communication skills through the close-knit seminar environments."

What advice would you give students in Duke's International Comparative Studies programs? 

"Don't be afraid to explore different paths, and stay open to opportunities! There are a lot of options out there, and it's all about how you market yourself. I started off as a project manager in financial services before pivoting to consulting, and now, I'm leading change management in tech."
