- A Just and Equal Durham Audio Documentary Project
- Research archival materials and interview community elders, social justice advocates, and activist leaders to create audio documentaries with the Pauli Murray Center for History and Social Justice
- Camera Digita: Portraits of AI’s Role in the Futures of All
- Create a ‘Zine that features voices most often excluded from conversations about the policies, practices, creation, and regulation of digital technologies like artificial intelligence (AI)
- Choose Your Words Carefully: Storytelling, Duke Magazine, and the University’s Black Community
- Use textual analysis and oral history to examine the magazine’s history of storytelling and representation through the prism of marketing, journalism, language, and race
- Geer Cemetery: Labor, Dignity, and Practices of Freedom in an African American Burial Ground
- Collaborate with a diverse, community-based group of volunteers, called the Friends of Geer Cemetery, as they seek to reclaim the cemetery, addressing its physical state as well as its buried histories
- Hardship and Resilience: Experiences of International Students during COVID-19
- Map the experiences of international students during the pandemic with this tri-university team
- Mapping Roots with Migrant Roots Media
- Research, write, and publish stories (and histories) of migration on the Migrant Roots media website
- Public Art As Public Health: Moving Messages of Dementia Inclusion
- Investigate how art and creative engagement can support Dementia-awareness education and creative care for persons living with Dementia
- The Seat of Fascism: Narratives of Repression and Resistance in North Carolina
