ICS encouraged me to explore opportunities outside of the classroom and gain a practical skill set to supplement my classroom learning. I appreciated the variety of classes and learning about current events, which greatly informed my decision to go into my current career.

Advice Saher would give Duke ICS students:

Take advantage of the amazing fieldwork opportunities the major offers, both abroad and domestically.
