Alison is a junior ICS major with a concentration on Europe. She is also pursuing a double major in Global Health, focusing on health system strengthening and innovation, and has a minor in French Studies. Alison spent the summer in Paris, where she took classes and lived in a home stay, and is currently studying abroad in Cape Town, South Africa. She loves that the ICS major allows her to actively pursue a wide array of interests and supports an immersion and discovery of many different cultures in order to become a competent and sensitive global citizen. Alison hopes to pursue a career in the nonprofit industry or an NGO, and has a special interest in the food industry’s influence on cultural and health outcomes globally.
